Students have been assigned tier
Students were assigned a tier yesterday based on their pre-assessment and an assignment completed prior to Thanksgiving break. They will be accessing the blog site for their assignment during this week and early next week. I am eager to see how well this works and to see if each student uses the correct tier. I thought about 3 separate blog sites for the 3 separate tiers but opted for just the one site. It will probably be much easier to manage in the end with just one site for both the students and myself. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think that this is a great idea using one blog site instead of multiple for the tiers. This will enable you to move students between the tiered levels when encessary without having to direct them to an entirely new blog site.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kelley, using one blog site will make everything simpler for everyone. From what I have noticed blogs are generally the same , but they have their settle difference also. This could cause a lot of confusion for the kids and you may have to explain both blogs to kids.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to create one for basic math as well, that way I will have one for the 2 subjects that I teach.
