Results from the quiz were much better than I anticipated. 97% (30) of the students taking the post-assessment scored proficient or above on it. The one student that did not scored 70% and will most likely re-take the assessment.
As a whole, I am extremely pleased with the results to this lesson and my first attempt at a true Web 2.0 lesson. I found the blog extremely easy to use and students commented on how easy, fun, and challenging it turned out to be. I plan on utilizing the same blog in the future and sharing with colleagues. It would be great to create a blog to post and share lessons with other mathematics educators.
